Bio

Jinfei Wang is a multidisciplinary artist based in Vancouver, Canada. Jinfei holds Regional and Urban Planning Honours Program from University of Saskatchewan and Bachelor of Fine Arts program at Emily Carr University of Arts and Design, she also received trainings in fashion design for seven months in Beijing. Her art practice focuses on her culture, specific geography locations that associated with reconnect and disconnect. She always interested in exploring the relationships between space, people and objects to reveal deeper meanings through time and historical issues. Jinfei current 2D works are involved with abstract forms and lines that relate to her Chinese cultural background and ancient Chinese language.
